This is a 1940's F. Dick Sharpening Steel. Fully marked with arrow logo, name F. Dick and Made in Germany-US Zone. This sharpener was manufactured during WWII. It has quite an ornate hand guard and retains the original hanging ring. The condition of this knife honer is very good. The steel and wood handle do show wear consistent with function, use and age. Piece has not been cleaned or polished in any way, original patina as found. Please review all pictures as they are part of the description. The blade to the handle measures 14" and overall sharpener is approximately 19" long. Consider this vintage sharpening steel for your knives! Youwill receive the item shown.
