Vintage Forged Ships Carpenters Adze Head. Measuring 10 5/16\" long, the edge is 5 7/16\" wide, the steel bit looks to be about 5/8\" deep, and this weighs 2 lbs 15 1/2 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. This is in fair condition and was cleaned. There is some overall pitting and patina. The steel bit has some pitting as well, and it\'s bent downward a little one the one side. The hammer poll has some mushrooming and wear. The eye has some crusty on the inside and I did scuff the bottom a little removing a busted old handle, but it is solid. This ain\'t pretty or perfect, but these guys sure ain\'t getting any easier to come by. A working old adze head for sure!

Also, I smoke a pipe, drink whiskey, both cheap and good, and cuss more in a hour than most folks do in a month.
