This clock was purchased by my grandparents on their trip to Germany probably in the 1970’s.
There are two weighted pinecones. One drives the clock, the other drives the cuckoo. One has to pull the weights up daily.
Cuckoo chimes on the hour the number of hours. Also chimes on the half hour. At the moment, the cuckoo door doesn’t shut all the way. Maybe the next owner can see if something needs a very special lubricant.
One can adjust the speed of the clock by changing (sliding up or down) the height of the leaf on the pendulum.
To adjust the time ALWAYS, move the minute hand slowly in a clockwise direction - pause for the cuckoo to chime.
