This is a vintage HUGE 19\" Tall German Lidded Stein.
This thing is EPIC and BEAUTIFUL. Fine craftsmanship. Amazing details. It is handmade.
While this is a German style stein I believe it made have been made in JAPAN. This still makes it quite old (1950s - 1960s).
I\'ve been in this business for many years and have seen a lot of stains, but this is by far the biggest I\'ve ever seen.
The stein features what appears to be a female Warrior with a shield Fighting a dragon in a forest. The dragon is actually the HANDLE.
The lid has two of what I think are villagers at the top, a male and a female, embracing, perhaps because they were saved from the dragon. I have a theory that the warrior is actually male because it looks like one of the villagers at the top and he\'s telling the story of how he defeated a dragon to his wife, as depicted on the rest of the stein.
But I like the idea of a warrior female as well.
I haven\'t seen another one like this anywhere online. Don\'t miss out!
Condition Details: This stein is AMAZING. It only has one VERY tiny chip on the dragon\'s wing. Other than that it is perfect. No chips, no cracks. Sold as is. See pictures for details.
