Excellent condition.
Please note that the main photo appears a bit lighter brown than the hippo really is. It is a darker brown as shown in the other photos.

This vintage hippo is evidently rare. I can't find another one like it on (either listed or sold) or on the rest of the web. If anyone knows more about it please message me.
My grandfather was a geology professor who traveled a lot as part of his research. He was also tool collector, so this hippo spent its life on a display shelf adding some animal contrast to the hardware. I'm not sure where in his travels this piece caught his eye.
