This is a nice made in Japan lacquered wood bowl depicting the Hawaiian islands. The graphics look like they are hand-painted to me. It has a made in Japan sticker on the bottom. Im guessing it dates to maybe the 1950s, but I can’t be sure about that. The diameter of the bowl measures approximately 7.75 inches and it is about 1.25 inches tall. It is in good shape for its age but as you can see in the pictures, there are some little flea bites of paint missing around the rim. A couple very small ones and then one that’s a little more sizeable. I tried to picture them as best I could. Please examine each of the pictures very carefully and ask any questions you might have before purchasing. Thank you for looking.
