The finely detailed statue depicts Krisha standing on one footin the tribhangy pose (symbolizing perfect balance), playing the flute. Krishna symbolizes spiritual growth, love and enlightenment.This finely detailed brass statueappears to have been cast in sand or clay. There are no visible maker\'s marks or dates, but the style, brass alloy blend and casitng methods indicate that the statue was almost certainly cast in India.This statue measures approximately 10.5 Inches Tall X 5.5 Inches Wide at the base. The statue and base are non-ferrous (the material does NOT attract a magnet). This heavy (4.5 pounds) brass statue has a naturally-aged patina and it appears to be in excellent condition.The quality of this piece is exceptional with notably finercraftsmanship than current-production Krishna statues being offered on the market today in the $250-750 range!Condition:Pre-Owned/Used in Excellent Condition (8.5/10). This Vintage Cast Brass Krishna Statue is in excellent condition with a warm, naturally-aged patina. There is minor dust in the fine crevices of this statue - this can be easily brushed out with patience and a gentle touch. There are no visible cracks or damage to the brass statue or base. The figure of Krishna is firmly affixed to the base/pedestal.HALO NOTE: There are images of similar brass Krishna statues online both WITH and WITHOUT a halo disc behind Krishna\'s head. This statue does NOT include a halo, but thereis an \"anchor hole\" on the back of the statue\'s head which MAY have allowed the attachment of a halo disc.
