Up for offer is an Indian silver Hindu ritual idol swing, asis. The piece is about by 4 ¼ inchestall by 5 inches wide and weighs 80 grams.It has a twisted texture crossbar with dangling bells are the ends, andmatching posts with sheet metal feet. Theswing measures 2 inches wide by 1 5/8 inches deep, and hangs from four chainswith additional bells. It has a 5 inchlong pull chain on the front edge. Thereare no marks; it does test as silver.

NOTE: I am selling a large accumulation of Indian silver,some Hindu and some secular. Some piecesappear to be quite old, others seem newer.I am not an expert on Hindu practices or traditions; any errors in thedescriptions are unintentional.

Condition on the piece is fair. It should be attached to a wooden base; thereare nail holes in the feet. It is a bittwisted and scratched as well, but could be improved. An interesting old pieceof Indian silver.
