Description

This listing is for a vintage spun cotton stork ornament. It was made in Japan in the 1970s. These were used in dioramas, as ornaments on Christmas trees, etc. This one is large and was found with other similar items in the storage of an old holiday store. It stands 3\" tall to the top of its neck and 4.5\" from the end of its tail to the tip of its beak.

Please do not pay until I send you an invoice so that I can get you the most accurate shipping cost. I never charge above the actual cost of shipping and include insurance on any item that is fragile or has a value above $15.00. If the final shipping cost turns out to be less, I will refund the difference. I will combine shipping on this item.

Payment

Payment or communication about payment is due no later than 7 days after the close of the sale. Please wait for our invoice before paying. The shipping calculator is NOT reliable. I will pack your item and weigh it as soon as possible after the sale closes, thereby giving you the most accurate shipping rate that I can.

Shipping

Due to the constantly rising shipping costs I look for the least expensive way to go to save the buyer money. Parcel Post takes a day or two more, so please take this into account when choosing a shipping method. I will combine shipping if you purchase multiple items in sales over a one week span of time, unless I state otherwise in the ad. Please be aware that I charge the EXACT cost that the USPS charges me to ship your package. If I provide insurance and/or special packaging, I add that exact amount into the shipping and handling fee. If I have made an error in the calculations, or if the claculator is incorrect, I refund the difference to your account when I print the shipping label. I DO NOT charge additional shipping to pad the cost of the item. I have no control over the cost of shipping and do my best to provide the least expensive shipping possible to all of my customers. I have no control of the length of time it takes an item to arrive once it leaves my hands - I provide Tracking numbers for all of my sales and the progress of your item can be tracked using those. If you want a shipping method that I have not listed, please email me as soon as possible so that I can adjust your invoice. I take pride in my customer service and treat my customers as I wish to be treated.

Terms of Sale

Please contact me first before leaving negative or neutral response - we should be able to straighten out any issue. I accept returns on items that you feel have been mis-represented. Buyer is responsible for contacting me prior to returning the item and for the return shipping. I will issue a refund for the cost of the item and for the original shipping cost when I receive the item in the original condition If you believe that I have grossly mis-represented an item, please contact me within 30days and we will work something out!
