Real nice Japanese Moriyama rendering of an Asian fish monger (fishwife) with a bushel of her wares at her feet and her infant child on her back (or maybe she’s merely returning from the market). From their expressions to her sandaled feet to her parasol the attention to detail from every angle is striking. This piece measures approximately 10.25” tall by 5.5” long by 5.5” wide. Other than one small “flea bite” by the infants right foot (see pics) this piece appears as like new with a rich patina but please scrutinize the pictures to judge condition for yourself and thanks for stopping by.
