This is a vintage Lodge No 12 cast iron skillet cover in Restored condition and dates to the 1950s. These older large cover are starting to get harder to locate.There are no chips, cracks. The item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approvedlye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process ensures the removal of allresidue from previous use making it safe to use once more. The item is lightlyseasoned with one round of Crisco at 450 for 1 hour. This item was photographedin very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lightingconditions, items may take on a brown color. Items are much darker under normallight.
