Vintage Mc Clellan Air Force Base Ash Tray Engineer Retirement 1941-1974:

This is a unique piece. McClellan Air Force Base. Gus Eliopulos joined the Air Force in November 1941 - (mere weeks before the bombing of Pearl Harbor and retired in December 1974. His name and those dates are engraved at the top,but difficult to see. See close up in the photos. It appears by the detailing that he was an engineer. The color doesn\'t quite come through in the photos but is copper colored detailing.
The embellishments on this astray are a protractor a hammer, wrench, gears and clamp, etc.
6 7/8\" in diameter. 1 1/2\" high Approximately 1/2\" deep. This ashtray is heavy!
