Vintage Mid Century 60s Vallauris Blue and Pink French Fat Lava Ceramic Pottery Vase.

Beautiful lava glazed vase from the renowned French pottery town of Vallauris.

Decorated in the style popularised by Mid Century West German pottery, a gorgeous, tactile drip glaze in pink and white, contrasting beautifully against the midnight blue base colour. Marked “Vallauris” on the base and the bottom side.

A very on trend colouring inspired by the Mediterranean home of the pottery. This will fit with contemporary or retro decor styles.

Vallauris was famous for producing Picasso's ceramics.
