This elegant pair of Mid-Century Modern silver plate Cala Lily candle holders were realized in Denmark by the esteemed maker Hans Jensen circa 1960. They offer stylized and subtly abstracted interpretations of the iconic flower- the cala lily- featuring sinuously curved elongated stems that overlap at their endpoint. Near this conclusion, they also feature banded detailing consisting of three perpendicular fillets in relief. The undulating bodies conclude in wrapped open form conical heads- the flowers of the lilies- perfect for presenting candles. Additionally, each of the bases offers a single curved and bifurcated leaf- all executed in lustrous sterling silver. With its clean modernist lines and beautiful craftsmanship- this set of candleholders is sure to excite discerning collectors of first rate Scandinavian design, as well as those with a penchant for all things exquisite. It is stamped by the maker and signed "Denmark". Excellent vintage condition. Dimensions: height: 6" x diameter: 8".

Some pieces due to the age might be missing a stone or have chipped paint or slight fade on the clasp but overall each and every piece is in wearable resellable vintage condition. I package the items very very well but I want you to expect that sometimes a little damage may happen during shipping, however this is usually not a problem but if it does ever happen you can always file a claim with the shipping provider if you receive damaged items because each package is insured and if you need the receipt please let me know, so I can provide you with one.
