Outstanding Oil on Board. Stunning subject matter in rich tones. Back of surface is stamped Joseph Torch of NY which was a highly regarded Artist Materials supply store in NY that closed in 1980.
Piece measured inside frame is 15 3/4"x19 5/8", with frame 19x23.
A few scratches but otherwise excellent piece. Please see images.
Unfortunately a signature could not be found and I could not find a similar style but I believe this is a valuable piece based on the age, subject matter and style.
