Vintage Native American Sterling Silver Concho Leather Belt - Never Worn:

This belt was purchased in the early 1980s and never worn. I believe it is Navajo, but not certain. The leather does NOT have holes punched in it for the buckle. Therefore, you will be able to make it adjustable according to your needs using an awl or something to punch the hole. The leather is dark brown. The silver could use a polish, but I am not doing that as I know many people prefer to do that sort of thing themselves. From the buckle to the end of the belt is 52\" From the buckle to the last concho, it is 34\". So there is plenty of toom for adjusting to your desired size. There are a total of 19 conchos plus the buckle for a total of 20 pieces. The buckle measures approx. 2\" long by 1-1/2\" wide. The butterflies are about 3/4\" long by 1\" wide. The rest are approx. 1-1/2\" x 1-1/4\". It is in excellent condition as I never wore it, so never punched the holes for the buckle to catch.In response to a question, I am adding this information: I don\'t see a sterling mark on the conchos other than the buckle. If there is one, it must be under the copper loop which holds the concho onto the belt. However, I have a silver polishing cloth and rubbed in on a small spot on the back of one of the conchos and it polished up nicely.
