Vintage Pair of BLANC DE CHINE PORCELAIN LAMPS c.1960s w/Shades, Harps, Finials21\" to top of socket - 30\" to top of shade
This beautiful pair of \"blanc de chine\" lamps with wooden bases is in excellent vintage condition. They are likely porcelain vases produced in China or Japan and sent to the US in the late 1950s - early 1960s to be made into table lamps. I have NOT disassembled them to prove this assertion, but this type of porcelain is uniquely Asian and was almost never made in the US. The shades, harps, and finials are not original. They look great with these lamps and will be shipped with the lamps AT THE BUYER\'S DISCRETION. Shipping cost quoted is for LAMPS AND SHADES INCLUDED - if the new buyer does not wish these items, shipping cost will be approximately halved. Local pickup of these lamps (21209) is preferred.

Buyer pays \'s estimated shipping plus $3.00 ($4.00 for outside continental US) for professional packing/materials. I will refund any shipping costs paid that exceed the actual shipping cost plus handling. And I will combine items IF PRACTICAL to help buyer of multiple items save shipping.

Buyers, Please Note: The itemsI sell are \"used,\"or \"formerly owned,\" or \"vintage,\" or perhaps \"antique.\"NONE OF THESE ITEMS ARE EVER 100% PERFECT -they may have slight signs of wear, - scratches, dimples, bumps, rubs, etc. Even brand new items have someimperfections - and these old eyes may miss some once in a while. So I rarely use the word \"PERFECT\" when describing items that I sell - becauseif you lookhard enougha flaw can be found inanything. So I want you tounderstand how difficult it is for a seller to catch every scuff, bump, or manufacturing imperfection an item may possess.

I strive to accurately describe what I sell. If I spy a damage or a major imperfection I will clearly state it and if possible photograph it for the listing, too. However, some \'flaws\' are not damage - they are either normal signs of usage or a condition inherent in the item, like the fine cracks in an oil painting: the older the item, the more likely these signs of usage will be in evidence. Some may be too small to be photographed.I strive to find andmention these conditions - but if I miss something you find to be significant please just bring it to my attention and we will work it out to your 100% satisfaction.

My buyers\' opinionis veryimportant to me. That said, I cannot offer you \'perfect\' items unless they are new, unopened, or in their original packaging from the factory - so please do not expect \'perfection\'UNLESS the item is described as \"MINT - NEW IN BOX!.\"A vintage or antique item will be described fully and as accurately by me as I can but I may miss something by accident. Should you discover something that troubles you,DO NOT CONTACT FIRST but rather email me immediately and let\'s discuss it. In most cases I will want the offending item returned to me (and I will pay return postage!) and I usually will notofferdiscountfor you to keep it. Somedishonest buyers will claim damage on anything, just to squeeze the seller into kicking back a portion of the purchase price: That is NOT me!

You havea perfectright to expect what you buy to give you satisfaction - and if a minor flaw interferes with achieving that satisfaction you can and should bring this to the seller\'s attention. I will work very hard to earn your highest \"5\" rating, because if you rate a seller lower than \"5\" in any category this can interfere with a seller\'s ability to do business on: is VERY tough on its sellers!

PLEASE NOTE: All items shipped via USPS Priority Mailor via FedEx are insured. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged, please do the following: 1) Contact me by email immediately, 2) The buyer will be required to notify the shipping carrier and file an insurance claim, 3) Save ALL packing materials and the original box, 4) Be prepared to take photographs of the damaged item AND the box + packing because this may be required by the carrier for a claim to be processed.
