Vintage Paper Mache Halloween Pumpkins Jack-O-Lantern 1920’s Germany Lot Of (2). The pumpkins are complete and all original circa 1920’s with no repairs or restorations done on either pumpkin. They both look to have signatures of their makers on the back bottom of each. This indicates that they may have been contacted during early years of school as a seasonable art project perhaps. The pumpkins are very solid and still have their full constructions integrity intact and Are in great condition for 100+ year old paper mache. These do not have paper bottoms (see pics) which I believe was done intentionally when constructed. This was because placing a candle inside to illuminate they would be less of a fire hazard sitting on inflammable surface.
