Gorgeous restored DOVO - #24 FRITZ BRACHT - straight razor. Razor has been dis-assembled, de-rusted, cleaned, polished, new bevel set, honed, waxed and is shave ready. Blade is super nice with only a few spots and scratches throughout. See pics for more details. Lettering on shank has been re-blued & re-colored with gold rub-n-buff. Looks amazing. Light hone wear. Finished with one layer of tape on spine on a vintage Thuringian hone.Blade width measures at over 11/16ths.
Razor length is 6 1/4ths inches.
No jimps on shank.
Blade grind is a full hollow. Front side of shank is stamped - 24 - DOVO - SOLINGEN - MADE IN GERMANY. Back side is stamped - FRITZ BRACHT - SOLINGEN GERMANY. Scales are original GOLD celluloid with brass inlay. They look great for age. Only a few small signs of wear, with a few nicks and scratches and a tiny amount of warping. they have been cleaned, polished and waxed. Pins are tight and blade closes on center. Includes original case, in fair to good condition.
