Vintage Rotary Phone French Continental Style. Renovated. Model # DO-8, SO FUN! Vintage Antique Rotary Phone French Continental Style. This is a VTS telephone, model # DO-8. It was made in Japan around 1950. It’san exact replica of some of the earliest phones (pretty much antique) but thankfully has enough of today’s modern technology to still be used. It comes with the original cord, an USadapterand a modern jack.Total disclosure…. I used to have so much fun talking on this phone & it absolutely worked (though the caller did need to speak clearly but they could hear me just fine…. so maybe it was just my hearing 🤣). I decided to get rid of my landline 5 years ago. Since then I’ve just used it as decor… and trust me, IT’S A HUGE CONVERSATION PIECE! EVERYONE WANTS TO TRY THE PHONE. All I can tell you is that it did work and nothing has happened to it since that should cause it to have stopped working. I just don’t have a way to test it. However, I imagine most would be interested in this item as a vintage piece & not a working phone anyway. It’s a relic from the past… the mutated relative of our modern cell phones & provides endless hours of entertainment. How??? Simply ask every kid who walks through the door to name the item.
