This is a vintage Sanrio ceramic bank (approximately 2 1/8" x 2 1/8" x 1 1/8").
Plug has original Sanrio design on it.
Not sure of the character (Button Nose?) but owned this item for at least 45+ years. Paint is vibrant and looks hand painted but not sure. No chips that I could see. Finish has ceramic crazing (please look at pictures). The light discoloration on the top the bank has always been there (and appears to be under the finish/glaze).
