Japanese Customs: Marriage Ceremony; Sixteen Assorted, Colored by Hand
Numbered. Unmarked backs. I’m not sure if these were meant to be sent as postcards or not. I’ve seen other sets that had printed postcard backs. I do not know the date when this set was printed.
Includes printed sheet listing each card. Includes: First Meeting; Donation; Bride\'s furnitures, etc.; Exhibition of the bride’s bedclothes, cushions, etc.; Exhibition of the bride’s dresses; Exhibition of the bride’s tea-things, instruments, and other possessions; Bride’s coming; Nuptial ceremony; Dress changing; Nuptial rites; Conjugal rites; First calling; Wearing band; Parturition; Health after delivery; Shrine visiting.
Cards are in good condition with some minor wear to edges. Envelope is quite torn and has writing in pencil to front, back, and inside.
