Vintage Textured Chinese Famille Rose Framed Wall Hanging Three Women:

This vintage work was acquired from a liquidation we recently completed in a local upscale Mount Washington, Maryland estate.

The scene depicts three women who seem to be engaged in a specific activity or possibly in preparation for an event. It appears as though one of the women is descending from a wagon situated next to a tree in full bloom with its pink flowers. Importantly, the piece is textured and looks to have been made through some type of etching process. However, I am unsure of the material the artist has used to create the piece and haven’t been able to find anything similar enough to offer any suggestions.

The high quality, professional framing features a chrome perimeter which measures approximately 19“ by 23“ with the exposed work itself at 15 1/2“ by 19 1/2“. This piece has clearly been exceptionally well cared for, as most easily evidenced by the condition of the framers brown paper backing but also undoubtedly by the condition of the piece as a whole.
