Tuscon Fine Bone China was made in Staffordshire, England beginning inthe 19th century. This piece most likely comes from the early to mid-twentieth
century. It belonged to my grandmother, part of her teacup collection.
I would say this set was hand painted based on the initials on each piece,which are not the same. The cup is P, and the saucer is S, meaning twodifferent artists at the factory were involved. The saucer also bears the
production mark 8844H. The cup and saucer are both very pale pinkand decorated in purple, mauve, blue and green floral.
The condition is excellent. No cracks, chips, scratches, or other issues.
The cup is 3 1/2\" across and 2 3/4\" high. The rim has a subtle scallop andis trimmed in gold. It sits on a gold banded pedestal. The handle is scolledwith additional sculptural dimension and trimmed in gold. The cup is
floral decorated both inside and out.The saucer in 5 1/2\" in diameter and 1\" tall at the rim, which is scallopedand trimmed in gold. The floral decoration covers two thirds of the plate.I am unsure of the pattern as I have not found another like this.
