Here is a VintageVenetian Millefiori Glass Beads beaded demi parure (neckland and earrings) featuring one of my favorite Venetian murinas. I love the stripped \"pillows\" set with a green star edged in black ontop of a white background. This murina has been around for many years. I like the combination of the Venetian black glass beads (rounds and tear drops) with the multi-colored beads.
Necklace measures 34\" long. Earrings are 3\" long. There are 51 (55 including those on the earrings) Venetian glass beads. The millefiori tear drops are 28 mm long. Center bead is 15 mm. The millie rounds are 6-7 mm. Black tear drops are 10 mm; rounds are 6 mm. Each bead has a pair of brass bead caps and each bead is hand knotted in between. Since each bead is made one-at-a-time there is some variation in size, color, style, etc.
There are no issues with the beads. They are strung on silk cord and it all feels tight. The clasp is a gold-tone screw toether type clasp. The earrings are clip ons. Please study the pictures carefully as they are an integral part of the description.
