Vintage WWII U.S. M1 Combat Helmet with Liner. Steel shell has front seam, swivel bale construction with original chinstrap. Rough texture OD paint exhibits expected age and use wear and has white ID markings to underside. I cannot clearly determine the heat stamp. Liner is of Seaman Paper Co. manufacture with complete webbing (nape strap is post war) and leather chinstrap, which has separated. Liner and webbing exhibit various ID markings. Liner exterior OD paint is nearly 100% intact, probably repainted, and features an insignia decal to front side covering the insignia eyelet. Nice original example.
