Vintage Walnut Music Box w Hand Painted Sailboat--Sailor Guy Gift: $120.35
This is a solid walnut Spirits or Liquor Music Box with a hand painted sailboat scene on the lid. Inside it has an antique whiskey bottle and a pair of shot glasses which appear to be original. (The whiskey bottle is worth about $20.00 and we will include it if a buyer wishes but it is much older than the Box.) The music box works when wound and the lid is raised but we could not determine the name of the tune it plays. The Box measures 14 x 6 x 4.5 inches and weighs 3 pounds, 7 ounces without the whiskey bottle. This is a gorgeous box, one that would make a perfect gift for someone who loves the sport of sailing and appreciates a well appointed libation after a day on the water. We have no information on its maker but the quality of construction, and being solid walnut, suggested it being from the 1950\'s-1960\'s. Pricing is based on previous sale of a poorer condition, but identical, box we found record of online. We can ship it within the U.S. quite economically and invite yourinspection and serious offer.
