Vintage handwoven birds tapestry Aztec Zapotec southwestern.

Beautiful handwoven Mexican tapestry wall hanging. In beautiful condition. Nice bright colors. Each tile features a bird and flower with slightly different colors. It looks like the weaver meant for it be three individual pieces however it was removed from the loom before completion. It can be hung as is or if you have the skill, you can finish the edges and separate each piece, giving You three tapestries! The fibers used to weave the birds looks to have a little bit of shine or sparkle to them. Woven using wool.

Full pieces measuring approx 60” x 14”

Each individual tile are approx 18” x 14”

There is some mild dye bleeding from the red that shows up as a faint pink spot on one or two of the pieces but they don’t appear to be distracting or take away from the beauty of the piece as a whole.
