where the blotter sits - pen holders?

most likely from age and sun

Measures about 7/8” in depth

about 1 inch in height (not including handle)

as well as bottom of tray

but, sadly, it was not found with the tray
Note there appears to be a small bubble in the bottom of the tray
and there is a small chip (as shown) on the outer corner of the tray
which I didn't notice until I ran my fingers over the edges

as they contain the detail / disclaimer
