Onthe block: One (1) vintage 1972 Shirley Chisholm \"Unbossed and Unbought\" Presidential

campaignsouvenir pinback button. Itmeasures approx 1.75inchesfromside to side andfeatures and

yellow background with black lettering.Singleshell construction withcolletand springpin.No date or

makers marks other than a union bug. In very good used condition with minimal marks commensurate of

a 45+ year old button. No large scratches, creases, image loss or dents. Great color and printing.

Darkening/rust from handling/age on the back. See pics.

This slogan \"Unbought and Unbossed\" was issued by Jo Freeman for Shirley Chisholm\'s 1972

DemocraticPresidentialcampaign. Freeman was a Haight-Ashbury activist who produced material for that

campaign. Chisholm was the first black woman ever to be elected to Congress and the first Black woman to

seek the nomination from a major political party.
