This exquisite vintage / antique Chinese art piece vase, hand-carved from hardwood, features a stunning high-relief design of cranes and pine trees. The intricate details and intricate craftsmanship are a testament to the skill of the maker. The rich brown color of the wood is a beautiful complement to the elegant design.
Measures 7.75" tall & 6" wide. Made from one single piece of hardwood, possibly Rosewood, and is very dense & very heavy. This piece is in excellent condition, with exception of missing piece of one small pine blossom on bottom side of relief design, as shown in last photo, but is not noticable and does not detract from the beautiful carved design.
Beautiful, one of a kind piece, with one of the most exquisite relief designs for this particular type of art piece. Estate purchase.
