Portfolio with 8 Beautiful, detailed and extravagant plates separated by tissue paper in

velvet surrounding each print. The prints are in a book setting which is in a blue cardboard/ cardstock book holder entitled "La Garde De Napoleon"

Introduction by Anne K. Brown, from whose collection at Brown University these plates were made.

Napoleon's guards were the most splendidly dressed fighting unit in all history says Anne K. Brown. The artist whom is responsible for these works is a German working in Paris during the Revolutionary and Napoleonic era, Nicolaus Hoffmann.

Overall the book with prints is basically brand new, never displayed or handled much whatsoever. The exterior cardstock holder has wear, missing corner piece, left side is cut but still hanging on... none of which affects the prints or the book they are in, in ANY WAY!
