Vtg Genuine Clam Sea Shell Hinged Trinket Box FLAW:

Vintage polished clamshell made into a hinged trinket box.
Measures about 4 inches long.
The color is iridescent, and very pretty.
The surface has some flaws from wear -- there are a couple of spots where the finish has worn off. Also, the shell is so thin near the edge there is a tiny hole in the surface, which is difficult to see, but present.
Both halves of the shell are edged in gold metal, and there is a clasp that allows the shell to be snapped shut and opened. It is difficult to snap it shut, however, because of its age and delicacy, so it will ship closed but not snapped shut.
