ePrague ContactVisit Store New ItemsExplorer Lockback knifeThis is a nice vintage pocket knife, made circa 1980 in Seki, Japan by Seizo Imai for Explorer. This knife features an ebony hardwood handle, brass bolsters and liners with a polished 440 stainless steel blade. Blade has a tight lockup and good snap. Blade design is unique being a rather fat clip point, difficult to find in a smaller knife. Stock photos; all are in similar condition. Seizo Imai was one Seki, Japan's finest craftsmen and most famous knifemakers of the modern era. His collaboration with Parker spanned nearly two decades. He made knives for Parker, Frost, Browning, Explorer, Compass, Condor, and many others, including his own brands Imax and Seizo Imai. His custom Loveless style knives are works of art. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of these rare finds. Product Highlights- Model: Explorer Lockback knife
