WALDOW ~ Early 12" Oval Copper FISH SKILLET w/Hammered Copper Domed Lid ~ BKLYN, NY

Description of item...Here we have a wonderful vintage quality copper and tin lined oval FISH SKILLET with a hammered copper oval DOMED LID made in Brooklyn, New York for WALDOW.It measures approx. 12" long (add 6-1/4" for the brass handle) x 7-3/4" wide x 1-3/4" side high (deep) x 6" in total height with the domed lid, can hold up to 40 liquid ounces...to the brim.Both pieces are in great maintained (barely/hardly used) condition with no dings or dents to the copper. It has not been polished since acquired as it shows a nice aged patina and luster, and is being offered in "as found" condition. The skillet bottom is marked, "WALDOW ~ BKLYN, NY." Handles are brass and copper riveted, strong and sturdy. No tin loss, still shiny...appearing to have had little or no use.Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1970-80's. This item weighs approx. 3-3/4 lbs., add 3-1/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
