For sale here is a Huge WW2 Italian M33 Steel Combat Helmet. I thought that this must have been a refurb due to the liner and strap condition, but they are both WW2 Italian issue. The shell has quite a bit of paint loss to the outer lay which shows a darker green paint underneath. I suspect that most of this loss was due to mishandling and poor storage. The shell has no dents or major issues other than the outer lay paint loss. The inside of the shell has also had this overpaint and has the same loss conditions. The leather liner is size marked 59, and the whole shell is much larger than usual. The liner may show very minor wear, but is mostly just aged and probably unworn. The green leather chinstrap is in excellent supple condition. The liner and strap are in strong and solid condition. These are hard to find in this size!
