This is a rare and scarce WW2 US Navy Huck Towel from 1944. It was used on the USS Richmond battleship during the war and is a highly sought-after piece of militaria from the USS Richmond. Decommissioned in 1945 and sold for scrap in 1946. This came from an estate with some amazing artifacts from the Navy. that I will be listing soon

The towel bears the markings of the ship and is an original item, not a reproduction. It is a unique piece of history from a significant time period. The towel is in great condition, has not been cleaned and has some staining. I did not attempt to clean this as it appears to be settled dust from the way it was folded and stored. It has been carefully preserved over the years. It would make a great addition to any collection of militaria or WW2 memorabilia.
