This lot includes 3 antique postcards title "Journee du Poilu". Poilu was slang for hairy ones, and was an informal term to describe the French infantry. These are all dated Christmas 1915 and portray the lives of the "Poilu" for the holiday during the first world war. Each appears to be stamped with a number on the back, and I'm not sure what that represents.
All cards are unposted. Nice shape with just a bit of corner and edge wear.
