WWI/WWII Army Named Brigadier General Harris Jones Uniform & Cap:

Thisuniform belonged to Brigadier General Harris Jones. He graduated from the USMAin 1917. General Jones served in WWI and was highly decorated with the3rd Infantry Division. He played a leadership role at West Point formany years and there is a ton of information on him on-line. General Jones retiredas Dean of the Academic Board USMA on 31 July 1956. This uniform was donated tothe Asheville, NC Theater Company back in the 1960s after he retired inAsheville. This uniform was sold at a recent sale they conducted to reducetheir costume inventory. Everything remains the same as it was purchased fromthe Theater Company. His uniform coat and garrison cap are both named (seepictures). This group includes a binder with all my research.
