ORIGINAL RPPC PHOTO - ORIGINAL TO THE TIME - NOT A COPY, SCAN, OR REPRO QUANTITY: 1 - See the other original WWI, WWII and COLD WAR photos that I have listed. ITEM: Original Snapshot Photo Developed as a Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) of US NAVY SAILOR "HOLDING UP" the LEANING TOWER OF PISA, Pisa, Italy. Probably the end of WWII or after. Photo is from William E. Weber, USMC 037133 who was a Marine Pilot starting in 1945 and serving through the Korean War and into the Vietnam War as a Major. He married US Navy Nurse Ensign Doris E. Beach in late 1945. They settled in Lakewood, Ohio to raise their family after WWII. Weber was in VMC-1 of MACG-2 in the Korean War and later in the Vietnam War flying A-1 Skyraiders. SORRY. I WILL NOT SELL OR SHIP THIS ITEM TO RUSSIA, AFRICA, OR SOUTH AMERICA DUE TO PROBLEMS WITH POSTAL SYSTEMS. DATE: Undated SIZE: 3.5" x 5.5" CONDITION: Very Good; See scans.. BACK: See last scan.
