Antique imperial Japanese ceremonial hatDescription"Step back in time with this authentic 1894 Imperial Japanese Guard's cap, a genuine piece of military history. With a head circumference of approximately 54cm, this cap bears the marks of a company commander's approval, signifying its use as a private but authorized military item. While there are slight signs of wear, such as minor moth damage, the overall condition is excellent. The inner lining remains pristine, and the sweatband leather, despite slight aging, is supple. The chinstrap is also in good condition. The visor shows the most wear, with notable moth damage, a testament to its age. This cap is a remarkable survivor of time, awaiting a place in a discerning collection."
