For sale here are six 7 1/8" turquoise pottery plates from the New York World's Fair of 1940. Each plate features an Art Deco potter's image. The back of each is stamped with two stamps. The larger stamp reads "The American Potter New York World's Fair 1940" inside a circle which reads "Joint Exhibit of Capital and Labor." The second circular stamp is smaller and reads "The National Brotherhood Operative Potters." Each plate is in excellent condition with NO damage. These are pre-owned, but they have been carefully cared for for the last 80 years. The price here is for each individual plate. Reduced shipping costs if more than one is purchased.
