Very unique and rare \"c. 1880\'s Trade Card for Albee\'s National Upright Parlor Bed, Boston, Massachusetts.\" This was a unique design for a piece of furniture that was folded open at night into a bed, and which was converted during the day to an Amour complete with mirror, during the day. It was invented and created by Henry L. Albee, who ran his business at 36 Washington St., in Boston, Mass.

In addition to this Parlor Bed, he also sold Bedding, Feathers, Hair attachments, Chairs, and Upholstery Goods (according to his ad.) This lovely advertisement is printed on beige, unbleached paper, measures 4-7/8\" x 2-7/8\" (approx. 12.4 cm X 7.4 cm.) The drawings for this convertible bed are beautiful and appear to be fine wooden furniture.

The trade card is in good condition, with no apparent flaws. It has strong edges and sharp corners Please see all of the photos above, to confirm the contents and condition.
