Pics are of the exact image/plate. Glass plate may have chipped corners, scratches, etc. Not all plates have original paper sleeve. Original paper sleeves are dry, brittle and fragile. Some sleeves torn and/or stuck to the plates. Positive renderings made of the negative plate for viewing and listing purposes. You will receive the one glass plate negative...no photographic print.
These glass plate negatives are from an estate in upstate New York. Some appear to be photographs of pages in books or albums, others (particularly the 3-1/4x4) appear to be original. We cannot confirm for certain. Descriptors were taken from the hand written notes on the sleeves, if available. Other generic descriptors based on obvious features in the image. How we ship:Each glass plate will be in a plastic bag to reduce handling wear on the item. Each will be supported between corrugated cardboard and wrapped in bubble wrap.
