I have listed100sofcolor newspaper ads from the 1920s to 1950s.Most are extremely colorful with great graphics.

This ad comes from the New York Sunday News magazine, either 1947 or 1948. It was printed with rotogravure on slick, glossy but very fragile,thin paper. The color ads are usually state of the art for the time. The color photos for covers and articles are gorgeous !

CONDITION----They also may have one or more of the following-- edge tears, small repairs with archival tape on the reverse and/or some degree of uneven cutting when removed from newspaper originally.

SIZE is indicated by the ruler or INCH markingsin the photo.

AD ON REVERSE ?
Occasionally an ad will have another DIFFERENT ad on the back or reverse side. If not indicated in the title, the pictures will make it obvious.

DUPLICATES ?
If you see multiple pictures of the same ad in a listing , it is because I have/had more than 1 of the same ad. />
