what we believe this to be is some type of immigrants chest or box for valuables , anywhere from 1890-1920 would be the estimate, this would have been something made over there and brought into the country filled with important personal things ! a functional and wonderful box, this is very well made, has some minor wear and could be cleaned, I believe its leather covered however I am not an expert , its a wonderful piece of history
