1800s Antique Ledger first use in 1842 for the Worthington Ohio Post Office & then in 1852 for the complete inventory of the John Snow Store at the time of his death. John Snow was the first Grand Master of the Masonic Lodge in Worthington. John\'s son George R Snow made an account and audit of his father\'s store inventory within days of his passing.The Post Office portion has a listing of residents with their accounts. Famous Worthington residents are represented such as Orange Johnson, G. Griswold, and John Snow.Much can be found online about John Snow. He was the first Grand Master of the Lodge in Worthington. As such he was voted in as G.M time after time until he refused to continue as G. M. Later he opened the first Drug store in Worthington. This ledger is an audit of merchandise with amounts, cost, etc. It is an amazing capsule in time for anyone desiring to know how a 19th century Drug Store Business was run, and what everything in that store cost.Over 180 years old so shows some wonderful patina and wear. A few pages are loose but the rest is intact. Check all the Pictures to better understand the wear. Little or no water damage.
