1862-1863 CDV PHOTO CIVIL WAR ERA YOUNG WOMAN; TW Cridland Photograph, Dayton OH. Good CDV picture, just standard age spots mainly on back, & some little creases (NOT folds) on back - SEE PIX; still a great early 1860's CDV. Also taken by photographer/artist, Thomas Cridland, who also did glasswork & many other things, and was nationally highly thought of. He was born in England, and lived in several other parts of the US, and socialized/entertained people, one of whom brought him to this country, Samuel Morse, and then others like William L Garrison, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Susan B Anthony, among others. Even Lincoln visited his gallery with him after speaking in Dayton.
