1880s-90s Deacon White Boston MLB Baseball HOF Warren Listed Cabinet Card Maker:

1880’s to 1890’s Deacon White cabinet card. Likely published while he was playing against the Beaneaters. White played in Boston in the late 1870’s. Possibly post MLB also. Baseball HOF member. Warren’s is a known baseball card maker. Examples of Warren’s Studio cabinets can be found through google search. Stains, toning and wear. Paper loss and markings on the back. Mounting remnants and damage on the back. No major condition issues. A little under 5 by 7 inch in size. Feel free to ask questions. Face looks a little wider on the Warren’s cabinet, but as you can see in the Warren’s Deacon’s chest is pretty parallel with the camera lens. The image it is compared to has Deacon with his chest angled to the lens. Photographers had/have the ability to alter appearances using basic angles whether intentionally or not. You learn through photograph collecting, photographers had a method to their madness. Angling the body away from the lens has a sliming affect on the face width. To test my theory all you need is a mirror and at least one eye(or just use common sense).
