Item Offered:Three photographs of a woman and her automobile - please let us know if any experts recognize the model! These would be perfect in a three-photo frame.

NOTE: women were not allowed to drive without their husband’s permission until 1920 .... so this gal was a real go-getter!

Size: Approx: 5.5” x 3.5”

Any Flaws:Some wear along the edges and some small missing corners. Faint, age-related yellowing. One photo has a small dark red smudge.

Item Detail: These are extremely daring photographs for the time. This was clearlyan independent woman. Two of the photographs show her posing impishly for the camera. In one she looks at us sideways while touching a hedge, and in the other she is leaning on a tree, her knees pulled together demurely.

The photograph of her standing next to what we assume is her vehicle is very special. She wears a fine cloche hat and satin jacket. Her gloves are on and she’s ready to drive.
